Venues & Integrators

Fit LanePulse around the venue — not the other way round.

A centre with suitable Titan and DMX infrastructure may only need LanePulse, configuration and commissioning. A venue with an older or fragmented lighting system can use the same project as an opportunity to simplify and modernise the wider control system.

Three practical routes

Choose the level of integration the site actually needs.

LanePulse is not tied to a mandatory lighting refresh. If the venue already has suitable equipment, the best project may be the smallest one.

02 / ADAPT

Keep the lighting, change the control

Useful where the fixtures are still suitable but the current controller does not provide the workflow LanePulse needs.

  • Audit existing DMX equipment
  • Move relevant control to Titan
  • Build the LanePulse playback structure
  • Preserve usable venue infrastructure
03 / TURNKEY

Complete venue integration

For a new installation or a site that wants the bowling automation and the wider lighting system designed together.

  • Titan control system
  • Lighting and effects design/programming
  • New + existing equipment integration
  • LanePulse commissioning and staff workflow
Software-only

If Titan is already there, LanePulse can be a very small change.

Where the venue already has a suitable Avolites Titan environment, the physical lighting system does not need to be replaced simply to add scoring-triggered effects.

  • A suitable Windows host for LanePulse and the required notification path
  • A reachable Avolites Titan system with the required playbacks programmed
  • Supported scoring notifications available to LanePulse
  • Network and system configuration appropriate to the installation

Exact requirements are confirmed as part of the site/integration review rather than assumed from the venue's fixture list alone.

What we can integrate

Use the venue as one lighting system.

Because Titan sits underneath LanePulse, the bowling response can be built from the equipment that makes sense for that particular site rather than a dedicated family of bowling-only fixtures.

◫

Architectural & bar lighting

Use appropriate DMX-controlled venue lighting as part of the normal daytime and evening looks.

✦

Intelligent lighting

Bring moving lights and programmed show looks into the bowling response where appropriate.

LED

LED effects

Pixel, strip and feature lighting can become part of lane or venue-wide effects when the control path supports it.

FX

Effects

Suitable DMX effects can be included in Titan programming alongside the lighting response, such as smoke machines.

BTN

Local staff controls

Physical trigger integrations can give staff simple on-the-fly scene and mood changes across the venue without directly accessing the Titan screen.

↺

Existing fixtures

Where equipment remains suitable, it can often stay in place while the control and automation layer is improved.

● Titan Scheduler

Bowling events are only one reason to automate the venue.

Titan Scheduler is a separate Tour Moon application that can automate routine Titan playback changes by schedule. At Ace of Lanes it complements LanePulse by looking after wider venue tasks while LanePulse reacts to the lanes.

◷

Scheduled venue looks

Change bar, feature and general lighting at the right time without staff operating Titan.

♫

DJ & event states

Bring event-oriented looks online when the venue needs them.

BTN

Manual override still matters

Venue Mode and local controls can provide quick changes when opening hours or the desired atmosphere differ from the schedule.

Ace of Lanes

A live 12-lane case study.

The first LanePulse installation started with a simple production question: how can the venue make much better use of lighting and effects it already owns, while tying those systems directly into the bowling experience?

The result

One flexible lighting platform instead of disconnected islands.

LanePulse handles scoring-triggered actions; Titan Scheduler handles predictable automation; Venue Mode and local buttons give staff practical control; Titan remains the single professional programming environment underneath.

For integrators

A clear boundary between scoring logic and show programming.

LanePulse interprets the supported bowling notifications and requests the appropriate Titan playback action. Titan remains responsible for the actual lighting show, which keeps the integration understandable and makes later creative changes far easier.

  • Keep playback programming in a familiar professional lighting platform where lighting technicians can easilly adjust
  • Map LanePulse events to a defined Titan playback structure
  • Use LanePulse status and captured activity to fault-find the control path
